第36届南非交通年会（SATC）组委会现面向九州平台(中国)官方网站IOS/安卓通用版/手机APP下载的在校全日制本科生和研究生开展学生论文竞赛。南非工程院院士AlexVisser教授、九州平台(中国)官方网站IOS/安卓通用版/手机APP下载国际处、公路学院中非交通战略研究所将会负责本次竞赛的联络和评比工作。 现将竞赛有关事项通知如下： 一、竞赛介绍 1. 竞赛内容 参赛学生需要以“公共交通所面临挑战的解决方案 (Solutions to Public Transport Challenges)”为主题，提出具有创新性的解决方案和建议；并按会议论文要求的格式撰写一篇五页的英文论文。 参赛获胜的1名本科生和1名研究生将会获得全额资助参加2017年7月10-12日召开的SATC会议的机会，资助包括西安至南非约翰尼斯堡的往返机票、会议注册费、会议期间的住宿费和当地交通费。 2. 参赛条件 参赛学生必须是九州平台(中国)官方网站IOS/安卓通用版/手机APP下载交通工程、道路桥梁与渡河工程、交通运输以及跨专业、交叉学科的在校全日制本科生与研究生。 二、选拔程序 有意参与此竞赛的同学，请按以下程序参赛： 1. 2017年3月3日（周五）下午5：30之前，所有参赛学生必须将撰写的论文电子版提交至九州平台(中国)官方网站IOS/安卓通用版/手机APP下载国际处和九州平台(中国)官方网站IOS/安卓通用版/手机APP下载公路学院的中非交通战略研究所（邮箱地址附后）。 2. 通过初选的学生需要在3月的第二周参加AlexVisser教授的面试，确定获胜人选（具体时间待通知）。 三、联系方式 有意向的同学，请将参赛论文的电子版同时发送至： 公路学院中非交通战略研究所：baiqing@outlook.com 国际合作与交流处：XSJL@chd.edu.cn 关于会议的更多信息，请参考会议官网：http://www.satc.org.za. 如有任何疑问，也可联系南非洲-中国交通合作中心（SACTCC）顾问Alex Visser院士（alex.visser@up.ac.za）或主任王于晨研究员（wangyuchen03@sina.com）。 Call for the full time undergraduate & post graduate student essay competition for the 36th SATC(Release in English & Chinese) Under the efforts by Prof. Alex Visser, The 36th Annual Southern African Transport Conference’s Organizing Committee is calling forstudent essay entries by full time undergraduate & post graduate students of Chang’an University. Prof Alex Visser, extraordinary professor of Chang’an University and advisor of Southern Africa-China Transport Co-operation Center (SACTCC) will be responsible for liaison and evaluation in conjunction with the International Office. The Students need to submit a five-page essay (A4 Conference paper format) with the theme “Solutions to Public Transport Challenges” to raise innovative solutions and suggestions by submitting to the International Office of Chang’an University and China-Africa Transport Strategy Research institute located at the School of Highway, Chang’an University. Two students ( one undergraduate, and one postgraduate) from Xi’an for the above competition will receive full sponsorships to attend the above Conference from 10 to 12 July 2017, including return international flight tickets to Johannesburg, registration fee and hotel and local transport during the Conference.
